Mid-90's we lived close by, used to walk to pick-up or dine in. We moved to Glen Ellyn-and we STILL go there for THEE Best Chinese Food in the Suburbs, 30 years later! I believe it was the original owners Nieces and Nephews who took over-could be wrong. Menu has gotten better AND healthier-my wife can explain that to you sometime. Anyone who doesn't like this restaurant must dine on scrap metal, vinegar, and toaster leavings-Thank-You Al, for that one.

Dined in waited for one hour to get food Orange chicken was dry and too deep fried too much.

Nice and relaxing atmosphere, lunch specials are always good and are accompanied with hot tea and an egg roll. I always get their smoothie to have some at the restaurant and take the rest home.

Definitely not worth 2 flights of stairs. 1st & last time customer. Ordered pick-up & got home to find an item missing. Pretty sure they would give it to me but not interested in a 2nd trip, especially after finding black mildew on the tomato chunks in the sweet n sour...gross.

Ate here for the first time yesterday and ended up getting food poisoning. Still not feeling well. Disgusting food...I shouldnt of eaten it.

Chinese kitchen is amazing. My friends and I have been coming here since we were little. We're all grown adults now who still convene here when we all are in town at the same time. I think the orange chicken recipe has some kind of secret ingredient in it that makes me keep coming back for me. The decor is nice and very modern, the food is as delicious as it's always been. Fortune cookies have always been accurate too.

It was fast. But the fried rice wasn't even average. It had likely been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.

Had a very good experience in this spot with my kids. The food was served quickly and the service is just excellent. Prices are affordable.

Great almost cheap but great food

Three stars for having some old time Cantonese classic foods. Cool enough to put bitter melon beef stir fry on the menu. Bitter melon as we know is the super food for Chinese vegetables. Fantastic service and clean dining and restrooms. They offer a reasonably price lunch specials and catering options for parties. Check out their beef fried rice and shrimp and lobster sauce over white rice it's delicious! I also love their dry beef chow fun noodle dish authentic and all mine when I get a hold of the lunch special. Come on in if you're in the area you won't be disappointed.

Been eating here for almost 30 years. Food is always good, hot and the portions are excellent. Lunch specials are very filling and the egg rolls are absolutely the best!

Some of the best cuts of chicken from a chinese restaurant we've had to date. Overall their food is really good and consistent. We are still trying new dishes to find the one, but I would pass on the orange chicken. It is too sweet for our taste. The pricing is fair and competitive. You can't beat it for the money.

This is another hidden gem in Ogden Ave. It's on the second story if an old strip mall. But once you get up there, it feels like you are in a treehouse. The Chinese kitchen chicken is excellent. The egg rolls and hit and sour soup are going to keep me coming back. Great lunch specials are a real value. We will go back!

Great food and fast service make this an excellent place for lunch and also dinner when you have even more time to enjoy the great entrees. Highly recommend the Mongolian beef.

Ordered sesame seed chicken. Was surprised with big portion, but apparently chicken didn't have much chicken in it. 70% is just breading and flower. Would rather have smaller portion ,but actually have some chicken in it.

Always excellent, our favorite is the shrimp scrambled eggs!!! I wish it's closer to my house.

Probably your best option for "fast" Chinese food and just down the road from Panda Express. I suggest you make this choice over the latter.

This place gets 5 stars from me.It's not super gourmet food, in fact it's the definition of Chinese - American food.Portions are largePrices are ridiculous -- look at their lunch special menu. So much food for the $And lastly, they are VERY accommodating for vegetarians and vegans. I've been eating here for the past several years and when I ask for a tofu sub for any chicken, they always oblige. They never give me a hard time about it and they even have veggie eggroll option.I wish more places were like this.Good job Chinese Kitchen!

I ordered a sweet and sour pork combo. This is by far tbe worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. No flavor! Even the sweet and sour is terrible. Its pink in color, which only can mean its been watered down. Really!?! They also included a egg roll that has the flavor of a old sock. Nasty..

This place is disgusting. I ordered using Door Dash and got pot stickers, pork lo mein and orange chicken. The orange chicken was mostly fried mushy batter, I had a hard time finding any chicken in the pieces and the pot stickers were burnt to the point that they tasted like charcoal. The pork lo mein was in some strange white sauce and the noodles came on the side.I ended up throwing everything away after looking at it and going to McDonalds. STAY AWAY from this place. You're better off getting Chinese food from the places at the mall. This place doesn't know how to cook food.

Always a go-to for easy take out but when dining in, as we had this round, it's always a pleasure. Quiet, quick service, great food. I love the small shrine they have as well.My only non-complaint is accemts are hard to understand at times but only mentioning in case that matters to others.I'm 100% a reacurring customer here. ♡

Great food served piping hot. Generous portions. Crisp and flavorful eggrolls. Thin batter on sweet and sour chicken so you are not just eating breading. My new go to place.

They do not actually do delivery. It is through doordash, which is trash.

We came to this place for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff members were so friendly and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Keep it up.

Was really skeptical because of how run down that strip mall is, but Chinese Kitchen really surprised me. The food was some of the best Chinese I've had in the nearby area. They give you generous portions and the crab rangoon is huge! I wish they wouldn't put all the stress on one waitress though. She was running like ten tables when we visited and although she was doing a great job, that's just too much on a single person when she is also busing them and wiping down the tables. For that, I'm knocking off a star. Hope they see this comment and give that poor lady a raise and a helper!

This place was awesome! We sat down and ate a delicious lunch for $23.00 for 3 people. It included soup, egg roll, main course, and complimentary tea. The food was served hot and with a beautiful presentation! Great value, and service, I am definately going back!

We greatly enjoy Chinese Kitchen and believe it to be the best Chinese in north Naperville. Not overpriced like Emperor. Fast service.
